The Associazione Terra Italia was formed by a group motivated by a genuine passion for the land of Italy,  first-hand experience living in the USA and in Arizona specifically, who are eager to share their experience to those living in this country with those who were born and live abroad.

The purpose of the Associazione Terra Italia is to promote the natural resources of the Oltrepò Pavese and its historical bonds with the Pavia province. Our territory is indeed ideally positioned. A simple geographic review helps appreciate its importance. A part of the Pavia province, the Oltrepò Pavese lies right on the border of Lombardia,  beyond the south bank of the River Po. Bounded by Piemonte on the West, Emilia on the East and Liguria on the South, its green hills and Apennine mountains provide a unique landscape, rich with uncontaminated streams, intact fauna, flora and woods.

The presence of hot springs, coupled with ample accommodation facilities, make our territory ideally suited for tourism.  With all this wealth of natural and logistic resources, we have come to realize that the Oltrepò Pavese has significant unexpressed potential.

The  Associazione aims at  promoting the territory of the Oltrepò Pavese, and the Pavia province, overseas. Accordingly, specific initiatives will be undertaken to promote manufactured, agricultural and other local  products as well as tourism.
